We started confirmation at the beginning of the year and have sense removed them and replaced them with 2 round tables and chairs. We have yet to have a problem. Bean bag chairs are at the top of the list for the new 5/6 ministry that is starting up. This post just reaffirmed my decision. Thanks! The best thing about all of this is, they will actually listen to the answers if they ask the questions! I've worked with 5th graders at an after school program and they come to me with all types of questions that I get to answer and I love the fact that they listen and understand each time. I can't wait for these opportunities to open up when this ministry gets off the ground for us. We are always trying to figure out ways to make the message stick better and to see the lasting results of changed lives. I think your right, in that if we can help the students come to the conclusions on their own, instead of feeding them the answer, that will happen. Perhaps my large group lessons need to ask the questions and then guide them to where to get the answers and let the small group discover the answer for themselves. Thanks for a great idea!
