Inviting Visitors to Become a Part of Your Preteen Ministry Community

How do you turn a visiting preteen into a regular part of your preteen ministry community? On today’s episode of the FourFiveSix.org podcast, you’ll hear four different ways to connect with preteens and their parents after they’ve visited your ministry for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time.

Recently, Sean did a Periscope to talk in more detail about the 1,2,3,4 plan.  Watch that here.

Here is an outline of our follow-up plan:

1st visit: Phone call to introduce ourselves (unless the student came with a friend)

2nd visit: this 2nd Time Visitor Postcard

3rd visit: A visitor bag with goodies and information inside is brought to their home

4th visit: this e-mail to parent

We also have a 10th visit follow up, which we talked about in this post.

There is so much more to visitor follow up, and we want to hear from you. Share your ideas with us with the comment section below.

Mentioned in this episode is “The Bike” philosophy of ministry. You can read that at www.fourfivesix.org/bike.
