Top Five with Chip Henderson

It seems like every time I talk with people who either have a preteen ministry or trying are to launch one, a few common questions arise. What ages are considered preteen? What does a preteen service look like? What curriculum is out there for preteens? What kind of events work with preteens? And finally, what does it look like to “let go of the bike” with preteens? So I decide to begin interviewing all the preteen pastors I meet, asking them these five questions. Here is Chip Henderson, the pastor to children and families at New Covenant Community Church in Fresno, CA, and his answers to these top five preteen ministry questions.
